Iceland Trail Team Volunteers

Join the Iceland Forest Service in this unique program! It is an ideal opportunity if you have experience in hill walking and camping, if you are ready for a challenge, and if you enjoy wilderness landscapes. Work with a team of volunteers and assist with the management of a hiking trail network in Thórsmörk during summer. Due to the strenuous nature of our work in remote locations, you must be physically fit and ready to do a lot of hiking! Plus, you have to be well prepared with quality, waterproof tents and warm clothing, considering the notorious and constantly changing weather of Iceland.
