This 10-day cultural immersion program in Central Italy focuses on typical and traditional Italian culture through the lens of its history and cuisine. Get a taste of the region’s culinary treasures and historic and cultural significance. Students travel to surrounding Umbrian towns to experience firsthand the traditions that have been part of the region for generations. Excursions are hands-on and, of course, students can sample the many foods they learn about. In addition to food, they learn about the significance of the place they explore, taking in the history, culture, and surrounding beauty. 

The program involves reflection, wherein students collaborate with their peers and instructors to create a culminating showcase of everything they have learned.
