Our semester and summer programs have two components: onshore and at sea. Our Semester Programs start with coursework and life on SEA’s residential campus in Falmouth, a scenic coastal town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This component prepares students for roles as researchers, shipmates, and crew members at sea. The sea component immerses them in the practical application of everything they have learned in the classroom. Life aboard a tall ship is full as they engage in a range of activities: attend classes, take ocean samples and measurements, assist with navigation, and much more.
