The Scottish Universities' International Summer School (SUISS) is a prestigious summer program that offers courses in literature, creative writing, and theater in Edinburgh, Scotland. SUISS was established in 1947 and has since become one of the leading summer schools in the world for the study of literature and the arts.

Each summer we offer three courses in Text and Context: British and Irish Literature from 1900 to the Present (8 July to 17 August 2024), Creative Writing (8 July to 17 August 2024), and Contemporary British and Irish Theatre and Performance (5 August to 17 August 2024). These courses are taught by experienced academics, writers, and theater professionals from prestigious universities and institutions around the world.

SUISS attracts students and scholars from around the world, creating a vibrant and diverse intellectual community.
