I took a TEFL course at SLS in August of 2024 and had a great experience. I had already earned my TEFL certification back in 2019 but hadn’t actually taught so I figured that I would take a refresher course at SLS and I am happy that I did because I learned a lot. The staff has been beyond helpful from start to finish, the course contained very useful information that will help me in my career and the portion of the course where we teach at a local school provided me with invaluable experience. I couldn’t be happier with attending SLS and highly recommend this school to everyone!

I am an American living in Thailand. Twenty-years ago I was working in a Cambodian community Stateside. Every door was closed to study ESL. I completed TEFL last Friday! It has changed the trajectory of my future. I did not have confidence in my own English, nevermind teaching it in a classroom, but the dream and desire were deeper than that. The method of teaching TEFL taught at Salisa knocked that thinking right out of my mind. Within two weeks I was teaching English in six classrooms. My heart is full of renewed passion and confidence and I am upgrading my own grammar on the way. This school is a professional, yet grassroots community, so down to earth and approachable. Every person on staff at Salisa has been certified in TEFL and started this school. I loved walking through the door every morning. The first day at studying TEFL at Salisa is a new beginning.

I had a great time under the guidance of a qualified teacher having years of experience in both UK & Thailand. The course material was good & the hands on experience at a local school was both enjoyable & invaluable. I was sad to leave the course!
