Is Portuguese required for this program?

Yes. Not only will this be necessary to participate in the language exchange programs ETIV offers, it will also help connect and build relationships with the community.

Can you offer any support with learning Portuguese?

Yes. Online courses are offered that interns can take before starting their program. There are also lessons available throughout the internship at a small additional fee.

What do I need to bring?

Your own laptop is essential. You will also need to bring your own bedding, towels, and mosquito net though if necessary you can organize purchase of these items from the host before arrival.
