Volunteer with Sea Turtles in the Nicoya Peninsula

Come and volunteer with us at our 300 hectares of tropical forest in one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches and one of the world's blue zones. Join our Sea Turtle Conservation program, which runs from June to December! The Montezuma program is for environmental enthusiasts who are inspired by experience through hands-on conservation initiatives and enjoy being surrounded by exotic nature. As a volunteer, you care for and protect sea turtles. We work primarily with Olive Ridley sea turtles. Our night patrols are made up of a group of volunteers led by an experienced patrol leader. Walk the 6-km long beaches and search for nesting females. An average night patrol takes 4 hours but can last longer, depending on the number of sea turtle encounters.
