Volunteer on the idyllic island of Zanzibar in Tanzania, helping with the rehabilitation of sea turtles.

With shifting environmental conditions, the breeding and developmental stages for sea turtles is more uncertain. Along with predators, over-fishing and various pollution, sea turtles need all the help they can get in giving them the best possible opportunity of survival. The project helps with this cause, which can range from rehabilitaiton of injured marine animals and later release back into the wild, through to assessment, monitoring and further learning about these creatures.

Zanzibar has long been considered one of the most beautiful areas of Africa, with it being steeped in history to explore. It is an incredibly welcoming area and you'll be shown around when you first arrive by our team on the island.
