Volunteer in Port Elizabeth and support the work of a conservation project that focuses specifically on some of the most majestic marine animals in the world.

The waters of South Africa provide a hotbed of marine activity and, as such, incredible wildlife can be found regularly. These play a massive part in the ocean's ecosystems, something that has to be maintained. Unfortunately, issues like overfishing, plastic and waste pollution, and overtourism are harming their natural patterns, causing a shift in where and how these animals live.

By supporting this existing project, volunteers can play their part both on and off the water—performing monitoring and assessment tasks with the team and interpreting the data back on land. The more we understand the shifting patterns of marine animals and the environment they are in, the more we can do to raise awareness and help them.
