Make an impact by supporting conservation efforts geared toward rescued elephants in the stunning scenery of central Thailand.

Thailand has long been a massively popular tourist destination, due to its incredible environment and diverse wildlife. However, people from some areas have taken advantage of helpless animals to draw tourists in, which is the dark side of tourism in the country.

Thankfully, these practices are finally coming to an end. Animals rescued from captivity are now provided safe haven, such as this elephant sanctuary where they can live comfortably. Here, the focus is solely on rehabilitation. The project aims to protect elephants after an extremely tough life, allowing them to live their remaining years well cared for and well looked after. They are provided food, care, cleaning, and shelter as it may be difficult to reintegrate them immediately into the wild because of their past interactions with humans.

Volunteers play an important support role in sustaining the project, with their fees going toward ensuring that this incredible work can continue.
