French Language Immersion in France

Take a group pledge to speak only in French in this program, then dive into authentic French culture and language as you travel all over France with your fellow high school student travelers and group leaders. Talk to local fishermen, bike to village markets, make chocolate, trek to glaciers, spend a week with a local host family, and do more! Leave with a greater understanding of the French language and culture, as well as newfound friends, on this summer immersion program. Accommodations in France are varied, ranging from homestays to Old World-style hotels to mountain chalets, many of which are run by welcoming families Putney has known for years. Leaders reside together with the students throughout the program.
