“White Nights” or midnight sun - as it is known in astronomy - is a naturally occurring phenomenon, when the sun doesn’t entirely disappear from the sky at night. Hence, it gives the city a ‘bright’ rather than dark night setting. While many cities in the Arctic Circle experience the midnight sun, St. Petersburg is the only place that considers this phenomenon a symbol of the city. 

Our White Nights special program allows you to witness St. Petersburg at its finest, when you see everything in a different ‘light’. Studying with ProBa doesn’t just improve your Russian, but broadens your perspective and knowledge. The program includes cultural activities, with tickets to various events. Group sizes are limited to a maximum of 8 students.
