Thailand has always been – and always will be – a clear TEFL favorite; a huge part of this is the welcoming Thai community.

On your arrival, you will be picked up at the airport before being transferred to your orientation venue. The two-week orientation in Chiang Mai is your chance to prepare yourself for the placement, as it is focused on teaching essentials. As part of this orientation, you will also undergo your TEFL training and enjoy four observed teaching practices with real students. At the end of your placement period, you will then receive your 120 hour TEFL certificate.

Placements vary from kindergarten (anubahn), primary school (pratom), secondary school (matayom), and colleges across Thailand. While interns cannot choose the type of school, location, or age group as it depends upon availability after training, we endeavor to meet the preferences of our interns.

What you need:
- To be physically and mentally fit
- To be adaptable and flexible
- Bachelor’s degree
- To be between 21-50
- Native English
- A passport from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States
