Yes, you can volunteer online and help our team in raising funds for the project.

Are the costs for online and on-site volunteering the same?

No. Virtual volunteers support the Greening Uganda Project by mobilizing resources or funds. Their program fee goes to the project. The fee of on-site volunteers, on the other hand, goes to expenses for in-country transport, accommodation, meals, and other services as well as their contribution to project implementation and sustainability.

How can I have proof that the funds sent have served their purpose?

PLANE produces reports, magazines, and video documentaries highlighting the project, activities, and how the funds were used. Reports contain photos, VOX POPs, and videos that feature our beneficiaries sharing about the projects.

PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE) is passionate about environmental conservation. We are seeking compassionate and environment-friendly volunteers and interns to help us in our project, Greening Uganda Schools. Join us online as we raise funds to procure tree saplings or in Uganda as we start nursery beds in school compounds and gardens, an effort geared toward mitigating the effects of climate change. It's our responsibility to educate children about the value of trees and forests, helping to foster their love for and connection with nature. Ultimately, we aim to create future generations who are conscious of the benefits of trees and forests as well as the need for sustainable management.
