PLANE is seeking for generous volunteers and interns to support them in this program. Under this program we support the needy children and orphans access quality education and remain in school by providing them with scholastic materials such as exercise books, pens, pencils , soap, uniform, bags, fees and sanitary pads for girls. If. This means that nearly half of the population can not afford to meet the their basic needs like food, shelter,, clothing, education and healthcare.The effects of poverty are devastating  not you, then who? Beneath the glittering beauty of Ugandans lush landscapes lies a stark reality :poverty. According to the World Bank, 44.9% of Ugandans live below the national poverty line. This means that nearly half of the population can not afford to meet the basic needs such as food, clothing, education, shelter and healthcare. The effects of poverty are devastating especially for children. Malnutrition is wide spread.But there's hope with your help to break the cycle of poverty.
