I think it's a good work
by: Sanchit Kumar - IndiaProgram: Farm Work in AustraliaWorking on Australian farms can be a rewarding experience, especially for those seeking to extend their working holiday visa. However, it's essential to be aware of both the positive aspects and potential challenges associated with farm work in Australia. Positive Aspects: Visa Extension: Completing 88 days of specified work in regional Australia can make you eligible for a second-year working holiday visa, allowing you to extend your stay. Cultural Experience: Engaging in farm work offers an op...
Camping under the milky way every night is legendary!
by: Dan Turner - United KingdomProgram: Elephant Conservation in NamibiaElephants are awesome. I travelled from the UK to Namibia by myself at just 17 years old which was awesome and I went from home sleeping to sleeping under the milky way. The first elephant herd I saw was headed by the matriarch Mathilda, and she was confident and one can never underestimate the power and beauty of nature in a perpetually hectic urban life. You don't have to go,but if you want to do something great and at the same time inspire yourself I thoroughly recommend it.
So glad that you enjoyed your experience Dan! What an adventure :) The Oyster Team xx
I had the best time in Sydney
by: Cara Allen Program: Paid Work with Horses in AustraliaI have had an amazing time with Oyster doing the paid horse training and horsemanship course in Australia. I had the best time in Sydney making loads of new friends and creating lots of memories, whilst also getting set up to start working straight away. Travelling to my job was also very easy and I am currently really enjoying my time working at a pre-training thoroughbred yard and learning lots. The project manager Georgie has been super helpful and supportive throughout my whole experience an...

What inspired you to travel abroad?
I typically work 9-5 Monday-Friday (UK time) although you’ll often find me in the office outside these times too! The great thing about working at Oyster, and what has kept me here for over 10 years, is that every day really is different and never quite pans out how you expect it to.
