Volunteers are accepted for specific roles in NPH service countries, with a minimum commitment of one year. You may work in health care, therapy, education, youth development, or administrative positions depending on your skills and qualifications. As part of the NPH family, you will live on NPH property, receiving food and housing at no cost. Beyond just a job, the NPH volunteer experience is a significant journey where you forge strong connections with the children and adolescents in our residential care programs during evenings and weekends.

A good volunteer at NPH possesses a strong drive to help the children and is motivated by a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Essential traits include a deep respect for cultural differences, sensitivity to unfamiliar norms, and the ability to adapt to diverse environments.
