Volunteer English Teaching Program in Spain

This program from Nikitas Language Abroad Schools was designed with the objective of placing foreign university students with Spanish families who wish to improve their English language skills. Host families will provide room and board to students who, in exchange, will give conversational lessons in their native language to all or any member of the family. Having the opportunity to tutor the host family is in itself a learning experience. Sessions may be spent sharing information about languages, customs, and cultures. The tutor will spend up to 15 hours per week helping the host family, who will accommodate them for about 4, 8, or 12 weeks to improve their foreign language skills.
