Mmanze Centre For Rural Development And Training

MACERUDET is a Ugandan NGO that helps rural communities recover from the effects of the Ugandan Bush War, a civil war that lasted from 1981 to 1986 and caused massive destruction and loss of life. It was founded in 1987 by survivors who wanted to rebuild their lives and improve their welfare. MACERUDET works on projects that focus on education, health care, and economic development. Some of its projects include building schools, clinics, and water wells, providing vocational training and microfinance, and promoting environmental conservation and agriculture. It collaborates with local and international volunteers to address the challenges of poverty, disease, and illiteracy.
