The Mirai Innovation Research Internship Program (MIRI) gives the opportunity to experience another culture, conduct research in a different academic/research environment, and pursue your specific research topics by involving international cooperation and collaboration with Mirai Innovation research specialists.    

You can apply all year long and your period of internship will be decided according to your needs and the availability of positions. The program will be conducted in English, so you're not required to possess a specific level of Japanese. The main objective of the program is to support students to achieve their research goals in a laboratory of emergent technologies with the help of expert researchers and engineers. The research projects can be in the following fields: Artificial Intelligence, Augmented/ Virtual Reality, Robotics, Computer Vision, IoT, Big Data, Cyber Security, Neuro-technologies, Nanotechnologies, and Aerospace Technologies.
