Meiji Academy’s Hokkaido School is located in the center of the bustling city of Sapporo, which offers delicious food, world-famous beer, and action-packed ski resorts. You’ll also find the vast stunning lands of Hokkaido on your doorstep, perfect for an adventure! 

Our courses cover:
- Standard Japanese course – 20 lessons per week in small classes with up to 9 people (however, most of our classes have 3-6 students at any given time).
- Intensive Course – 4 extra private classes per week, with your teacher focusing on your needs.
- Japanese Traditional Culture Course – allows you to experience famous aspects of Japanese culture.
- Japanese Pop Culture Course – allows you to learn all about popular culture amongst the Japanese population.
- Japanese Business Course – teaches you about ethics and rules in the Japanese workplace. This is a useful class if you plan to live and work in Japan.

Meiji Academy’s vetted teaching staff have a particular skill for catering to all levels of Japanese, so no previous experience is necessary. Beyond that, you’ll have the chance to practice your Japanese at various language exchange events with local natives.
