Intern or volunteer in the Montenegro Dolphin Research (MDR), conducted in partnership with the Marine Mammals Research Association. This is the first long-term study of marine mammals in Montenegrin coastal waters. We aim to address questions about marine mammal abundance, distribution, and behavior as well as define critical habitats and investigate the impacts of major threats, ranging from tourism to seismic practices. Our wider attention focuses on promoting and implementing awareness initiatives targeted at the local community. 

This program is open to interns and volunteers. Joining our team allows individuals to gain both scientific and outreach skills they can practice in marine mammal research.
