As a local advocate for the ocean, you'll play a crucial role in promoting healthy seas. After training, you'll raise awareness about the Marine Conservation Society and marine conservation issues by serving as a media spokesperson in your area. You'll discuss the Society's work and events, such as the Great British Beach Clean, on local radio, TV, and press. The Media & Communications team will arrange these opportunities and provide briefings. 

You'll receive key messages documents and have chances to ask questions for each project. Representing the Marine Conservation Society and its values, you'll be supported with training and briefings to effectively embody the brand.

A list of resources will be provided as training that needs to be complete prior to getting a booking details for our Media Spokesperson training courses. After you've attended this course, we'll add you to our list of media spokespersons and contact you when opportunities are available in your local area.
