As a local advocate for the ocean, you'll play a crucial role in promoting healthy seas. After training, you'll raise awareness about the Marine Conservation Society and marine conservation issues by serving as a media spokesperson in your area. You'll discuss the Society's work and events, such as the Great British Beach Clean, on local radio, TV, and press. The Media & Communications team will arrange these opportunities and provide briefings. You'll receive key messages documents and have chances to ask questions for each project.
