Volunteer Teaching Performing Arts in Uganda

Africa is rich in art and music. Performing Arts is an integral part of traditional life here, ingrained into the fabric of our societies. You notice walking through rural communities the sounds of singing, using everyday objects as instruments. Dancing every evening in the streets. With the Living Music Foundation, Volunteers work alongside respected local musicians, teaching music and learning about East African music and culture. Volunteers will accompany us to rural communities, women's empowerment centers and orphanages to teach music lessons to those who cannot otherwise access musical training or instruments.
