Whether you play guitar, the triangle, or sing… We want you!
Here in Western Uganda, most people do not have access to musical training. It is a luxury rather than part of the curriculum.
However, we at the Living Music Foundation are passionate about the power of music to transform lives, improve self esteem, cultural pride, discipline, cognitive skills, emotional intelligence and more. 


Through our volunteer program we seek to make musical education accessible, offering free music lessons to youths who cannot otherwise afford them. 
Volunteers will lead music lessons in their instrument of choice, and lead community trainings.

Groups we work with include primary schools, orphanages, church groups and women's empowerment groups. We also offer 1-1 lessons to youths who we have identified have musical talent but no access to lessons.

Through our program you will Improve personal skills regarding teaching and cross cultural learning. You will experience daily life in Uganda while living with a local family homestay, for example cooking traditional dishes together.  All the while you are making a positive and lasting change with musical training.
