Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary will be their forever home. Participants will feed animals, clean and maintain the enclosures, prepare meals, exercise and monitor their behaviour, and many other activities inclined in feeding, rooming, and taking care of the animals in the sanctuary. Lion and Cheetah is situated on a conservancy which stretches over 800 hectares of unspoilt bushveld and boasts a variety of antelope species, giraffe and zebra. Once in a lifetime experience!

The whole sanctuary is beautiful and the animals are treated very well. I got involved in preparing the animals meals, helping clean and maintain the animal enclosures, spent as much time as I could playing with the Mongooses Eenie, Meenie, Money and Mo and definitely made a bit of time to relax at the pool. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience South Africa on a different level. Watching Samson "The Gentle Giant" being fed in the mornings was truly the highlight of my stay. The accommodation we stayed in was really luxurious and I couldn't have asked for more I will never forget this experience and cant wait to go back.

I am so grateful I got to experience working with lions, cheetahs, hyenas, serval, genets and a lot of other wildlife, it was truly life changing! I highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone wanting to work with wildlife who also only want to volunteer at an ethical sanctuary.
