I had such a great time interning in Tokyo for 2 months. Met amazing friends and lived with them in the accommodation, saw a lot of Tokyo sights organized by the team, and learned a lot from my Internship there. If you're looking for growth, a new culture, city, and community, I highly recommend traveling abroad and interning with these added bonus services. I did a 6-month internship in Tokyo with Beyond Academy and had a great experience overall. The internship lined up well with what I was aiming for, both personally and professionally. Tokyo is just an incredible city to live in. There’s always something happening, the food is unreal, and every neighborhood has its own vibe. I visited twice before this program, but living and working here is completely different (in a good way ofc). The coordinators, Olivia and Stephanie, were amazing. They’re super fun, easy to talk to, and always ready to help with anything - from hospital visits to food recommendations. They made the whole experience super smooth and enjoyable. The accommodation was clean, safe, and in a great location. Living with other interns was fun and made it easier to settle in. I can say I definitely made some lifelong friends through the program. I was skeptical at first about the events, but they were actually great - well-planned, varied, and a fun way to explore Tokyo and meet people without it feeling forced. As a bonus, I actually ended up landing a full-time job in Japan after the internship, which would've never happened if it wasn't for the program lol. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend the program to anyone serious about gaining international work experience and exploring Tokyo/Japan.

I am a recent graduate in Nutrition and Dietetics and currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. Although I haven’t completed an internship yet, I am eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of nutrition and public health through an international opportunity. My academic background has given me a solid foundation in clinical nutrition, public health strategies, and dietary planning. I am passionate about applying this knowledge in real-world settings, especially in communities where access to proper nutrition and health education is limited. I am particularly interested in areas related to malnutrition, food security, and preventive health. An internship abroad would allow me to grow professionally, improve my practical skills, and better understand the cultural and social factors that influence health and nutrition globally. I am excited to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with experts in the field, and make a positive impact while learning from new experiences. This opportunity would be an important step in my career as I work toward becoming a public health nutritionist. I am committed, hardworking, and ready to learn and support the mission of any organization focused on improving health through nutrition.
