Laurin & Klement The journey started when Václav Klement, dissatisfied with the workmanship of his new bicycle, decided to repair bicycles himself. Teaming up with cycle mechanic Václav Laurin in December 1895, they began producing bicycles before expanding into motorcycles and, in 1905, their first car.
