The internship program offered by the KS Elephant Sanctuary is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about animal welfare and conservation to gain hands-on experience in a dedicated elephant sanctuary located in Thailand. This immersive program allows interns to make a meaningful impact while learning about the complex and fascinating world of elephants.

At KS Elephant Sanctuary, we offer two internship programs: one focused on elephant research and the other on photography. These internships are available year-round, but availability is subject to capacity constraints.

Interns in the Elephant Research program work from Monday to Friday, allowing them to enjoy their weekends for personal exploration. Interns hike in the mornings to observe elephants, assist visitors, and collect data. Afternoons involve data entry, project work, and occasional presentations on elephant research and conservation.

As a photography intern, your days will encompass a variety of activities, including hiking with the elephants to capture high-resolution photos for our social media, as well as occasional visits to the school or village to document community-related shots.
