It is quite common for the kindergarten and school to be close to each other and, sometimes, even located in the same building. This means a variety in your tasks. Depending on your English level, you will be placed with younger or older kids. You will assist the local staff in all areas of teaching.

Speaking English is becoming more and more important due to rising tourist numbers in Costa Rica. Your role is that of a consultant to English teachers in local schools. If you're highly confident with the language and you show dedication, there's an opportunity to support teachers in other subjects.
