Assist local teachers with English, French, or German classes to help kids improve their language skills.

There is a huge difference between school systems in Europe and Ecuador. It is quite common that kindergarten and school are close to each other and sometimes they are even in the same building. Therefore, you are going to have a variety of teaching duties throughout this internship. Depending on your language level, you will be placed with younger or older kids as well as assist the local staff in all areas.

Speaking English and other languages, such as French and German, is getting more and more important due to rising tourist numbers in Ecuador. As an intern, you will become a consultant for English teachers in local schools and­ provide support as they deliver lessons. If you are highly confident with the language and you show dedication, you can also assist other subject teachers. You will create small exercises for students, make them smile as they learn, and get rewarded with an appreciation in their eyes.
