After surfing and sunbathing are over for the day – and Spanish lessons and volunteering! – the town comes alive with funky surf shops, cafes, restaurants and nightspots for every taste and budget. Your experience will be based at ‘Jakera Jungle Surf Camp’ where we have created a jungle paradise complete with swimming pool overlooked by a rich tropical forest bursting with wildlife including red squirrels, howler monkeys and tiny magical hummingbirds. Jakera Jungle Surf camp is set within tropical forest with wildlife including monkeys and birdlife in abundance, yet only 5 minute stroll to the cool cafes, bar and nightlife of Santa Teresa.
Choose from a variety of meaningful volunteer projects including minimum 20% turtle conservation related work
Get help with airport transfers from San Jose - including overnight San Jose airport hotel for late arrivals.
