This course aims to prepare students to manufacture theatrical costumes, from the simplest to the most complex patterns. The instructive program begins with the study of the basis of modeling and it goes on with darts in transfer, sizes, and allowance. After a preliminary skill, they learn to carry out patterns of period costumes and manufacture these with the appropriate cloth and fabrics. They study fibers and yarns to simplify the realization of the pattern. Thanks to this program, our students are able to face working reality as professionals upon course completion.
