Kathy Lynch, who has expertise in both international education and sustainable global development, created Isla Internships Abroad in 2007. It offers brave change-makers, social entrepreneurs, and humanitarians international internship opportunities where they can collaborate with our partner communities' most devoted community development leaders. Isla is currently assigning interns to Uganda, India, Bulgaria, and Kosovo. Isla Internships build upon the organizational capacity-building work of our local partner organizations in developing countries by placing university undergraduates, graduate students, and entry-level professionals in career-launching global development internships.
