Hanoi is considered one of Vietnam’s main cultural centers. Extensive excursions are integrated into courses and offered outside of class time. The program treats fascinating Vietnam as your living classroom! You will take courses at CSDS (The Center for Sustainable Development Services) with local Vietnamese university professors. 

Courses may include: 
•	COSA in Vietnam (Community Organizing and Social Activism)
•	Vietnamese Language (taken as "Language Across the Curriculum")
•	Environmental Science and Sustainable Development  
•	Sustainable Tourism 
•	Global Health and the Environment 
•	Advocacy Research Independent Study

Service may include: 
•	Services to disadvantaged children, orphans, and street children 
•	English language consulting/tutoring 
•	Youth development 
•	Environmental/conservation
•	Eco-tourism program development
•	Poverty alleviation 
•	Women's empowerment 
•	Micro-finance 

Students live in dormitory housing with self-serve, Western-style breakfast and Vietnamese lunch and dinner offered.

IPSL accepts AmeriCorps Segal Education awards. Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) is available for eligible students.
