Great time volunteering
March 06, 2020by: Connor Dalman - United StatesProgram: Volunteer in Special Needs Care in Costa RicaI had a great time volunteering with the Special Needs program through IVHQ and Maximo. I volunteered at a center where they were taking care of people with a wide variety of special needs. I would take them to the park, do arts and crafts and play games with them. It was one of the best experiences ever doing this. You are a light to them and bring excitement and joy. I had so much fun being with them and created amazing bonds in just two weeks. This experience gave me such a good perspective on life in general as well. I would highly recommend this program to anyone!
