Elderly Care Volunteering with IVHQ in Zambia

The Elderly Care project in Zambia focuses on providing basic services at an elderly facility, including meals, maintenance, cleaning, gardening, taking elderly to local hospitals or clinics and providing general care and companionship to the seniors. This project is severely under-resourced as the provisions for abandoned seniors are generally provided by social service agents. Volunteers on the Elderly Care project must be willing to work on their own initiative as little structure is established in this environment, however help is much needed.
