Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA) in Egypt

Develop the necessary skills to interact with native speakers using spoken Arabic. Spend a holiday in Cairo, Egypt, and take the Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA) or (Aameya) course. Due to its widespread use in media and music, ECA is the most commonly understood dialect of Arabic in the Middle East. This course focuses on Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, and Grammar and is integrated with fun activities. IH Cairo uses a combination of in-house teaching materials and textbooks to facilitate learning. We use the Kallimni Arabi book series published by the American University in Cairo Press, which are commercially available.
