Intercultura Gap Year Program

With our gap program, you will take the time to get to know yourself and what you enjoy and value. This will help you focus on the academic or career path that you desire instead of choosing blindly or because of someone else´s expectations. This program is designed to gain international experience with a combination of Spanish classes, fluency in the language, and volunteer work in a non-profit organization in your area of choice throughout Costa Rica. This way, you get to know the diversity of this beautiful country. In order to get to know both, the city and rural areas of Costa Rica, we recommend studying at both our beautiful campuses – Heredia and Sámara – before taking your new language skills out into the real world, working part-time or full-time (depending on the placement)...
