The Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, offers a unique blend of immersive Spanish language courses and artistic exploration in one of the most culturally rich cities in the world. Located in a historic UNESCO World Heritage Site, San Miguel de Allende is renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture, vibrant arts scene, and the fusion of Spanish, Creole, and Amerindian cultures. 

The Instituto, working in partnership with the University of Guanajuato and supported by the G.I. Bill, provides U.S. Veterans the opportunity to learn Spanish through a comprehensive immersion program. We are FUNDACIÓN DE ARTE ENRIQUE FERNÁNDEZ MARTÍNEZ, AC on the DVA's list. With one-on-one instruction and personalized learning, students can achieve fluency in just one year, all while soaking in the city’s artistic atmosphere. The program also offers  excursions to nearby historic sites, enhancing the learning experience. Additionally, you may choose to add one of the Instituto’s art workshops, including painting, ceramics, and photography, which allow students to explore their creativity in tandem with language acquisition, creating a truly enriching personal and academic journey.
