Filled with lush forests and fragile ecosystems, the Guatemalan government pays
little attention to the preservation of its natural resources because of the poor
management and enforcement of environmental laws. INLEX partners with
environmental conservation projects that aim to keep protected areas safe as well as
educate the local population on environmentally friendly practices.


Possible tasks:
-Working in greenhouses and tree nurseries.
-Planting trees.
-Record keeping of plant species.
-Trail maintenance.
-Educating the community about environmentally friendly practices.
-Making signs and creating informational material for visitors.
Availability: Year-long
Program Duration:2-8 weeks
Schedule: 7 am to 3 pm.Monday to Friday.
