Located in Freiburg, Germany, IES Abroad's Language and Area Studies program offers students the chance to live in a city steeped with medieval history yet is still a leader in green-tech and architecture. 

Students can take courses at several different universities in the city including Alber-Ludwig-Universitat Freiburg and Jazz and Rock Schule Freiburg. IES offers programs throughout the year including fall and spring courses, with an option for an entire academic year.
