Summer Course Graphic Design and Portfolio - IED Florence

The course in Graphic Design and Portfolio offers students the possibility to challenge themselves with a creative program that combines traditional lectures and project work to approach the basic tools and techniques of graphic and visual design. Through lectures, case studies, labs and site visits, students will enhance their theoretical knowledge and technical skills, in order to complete a creative portfolio, developed during the program. Target - This is an Introductory course; no previous studies within the field are required. However, students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the major themes that will be presented. Applicants need to show strong motivation and the ability to work in groups. This course is held in the English language. Start date: June

Summer courses combines IED design methodology with a deep immersion in some of IED most inspirational locations. Programs highlight Italian and Spanish know-how in a variety of subjects.

IED Visual Arts courses in Italy join humanistic approach to research and experimentation labs. It is a research laboratory where students develop higher creative skills as well as their own language.

Students become professionals able to handle with photography, graphic, up to performing arts and interactive installations. They get strategies to translate concepts into expressions.
