Volunteer on Construction Projects in Nepal

My time with GVI Nepal was incredible, the construction program is hard work but worth all the effort because you get to see the difference you are making in real time. The team who you work with in Nepal are amazing and make the whole experience even better!

My time spent of the construction programme in Nepal was everything I hoped it would be - suitably challenging, but with maximum reward when you see the difference it makes to the lives of others. Life as a GVI volunteer is a wonderful, immersive experience where you have the opportunity to learn about a different culture, make new friends and discover new things about the world and about yourself which will change your life forever.

I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of activities - ranging from the school construction work to teaching science and playing sports with local kids through the conversations club (CC). All of which had a clear purpose of empowering the local community. Thank you to Tara, Sita and the GVI team for their guidance, enthusiasm and showing us Nepalese food and culture during our spare time!
