My GVI experience was everything I was hoping it would be and more!! All the volunteers and staff are so welcoming and immediately bring you in as part of the family. It was an amazing experience!

It was an amazing experience! Every single person, volunteer or staff, that I met inspired me in some way. The quote ?magic happens right outside your comfort zone? rang very true. I learned so much about myself and the world (and sea turtles!) by trying things I never had considered doing in my normal life at home. You truly leave with a different perception on life and a sense of inspiration to carry home the values you practiced while on base and at project.

I started GVI with no conservation experience, but after six months I can confidently say I can pursue a career in conservation. Plus I have had so much fun on the way meeting new people all the time and exploring Thailand.
