I had a great time here!

I had a great time here. All of the staff were supportive and willing to teach you everything they know. I enjoyed the variety of programs they offered at Jalova and liked that I could focus on areas that I had more interest in. There is a big sense of community here and everyone is very supportive of each other. I can’t wait to come back.

This program thought me a lot.

I was teaching English for only 2 hours a day and it was more exhausting then I expected. I am planing on going home and writing letters, apologizing to some of my teachers that I was rude to. Letting them know I’m sorry for my juvenial acions. This program thought me a lot about respect.

Increased my self confidence as a leader.

I feel like GVI has not only drastically boosted my skill set as a potential employee but has also increased my self confidence as a leader. Also, by living in conditions like these it has required me to think outside the box for solutions to problems that might be simpler back home, as I do not have access to the same resources, making me a much more creative problem solver!
