You can gain a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) qualification while training on critical education projects and exploring the region. Participants will teach English in the community from the very beginning. In addition, GVI offers a job placement service to all volunteers, to help them find paid positions in the TEFL industry. College credit may be available for those attending this expedition. With the support from staff my confidence has grown significantly and my belief in my own ability has increased. Working with the community members that I have done has been rewarding and I've met people who's impact on my life I will remember forever. It is clear that all of the projects that GVI run have a huge impact on the community and make a big difference to the men, women and children involved.
