My experience with GVI was very good. The field staff were very kind and supportive and the activities were well structured and enlightening.

The staff were incredibly friendly but were serious during activities, which allowed for entertainment throughout the activities, though sometimes it felt we were not given the details soon enough.

My experience with GVI was a once in a lifetime experience. Their commitment and dedication is truly outstanding. The staff are extremely compassionate, dedicated and intelligent when it comes to their work.

Eye-opener for the young

I had a very great experience chaperoning a group of our high school students with GVI.  I know that they understand better how they can positively impact the world as a result of their activities and education with GVI and I hope they continue to feel this way long into the future.

Making a huge impact is so much rewarding

My experience with GVI indescribable. I definitely feel that I made a huge and great impact in another country and could not have felt any better or happier about it. I would definitely recommend this program to others because this is an experience I will never forget.

I had deeply-rewarding time

Not only were the hand-on activities able to leave us feeling involved in the lives of locals in an impactful way, but the the types of collaborative activities that we participate in have helped our volunteer groups (peers) get much closer together and accepting of each other's working differences--unlike where we come from, working for the betterment of other people takes the importance off of us and onto them, allowing everyone involved to become better team players. The staff were all very amazing and interesting individuals with a lot to share. They deserve only the best.

It was really awesome!

We met up at the airport, and the day after getting to Quepos we began work on painting the community center. The locals were very friendly, and we made friends there regardless of differences in languages. It was really awesome!

This was an amazing experience

This was an amazing experience that I will remember for the rest of my life, and it was really good how it's international, so we're traveling with people from everywhere. It gave us a chance to truly connect with everyone.
