Where will I do my practicum?

You will conduct your live student teaching and observation at the TEFL school, mostly with Czech adults from the community.

Do I need to speak Czech?

It is not required to speak Czech as many Prague natives speak English fairly well. However, learning a little Czech while you’re there won’t hurt and lessons are easy to find!

Is it easy to get around?

Yes! Getting around Prague is manageable by foot or by public transportation! Public transportation, which includes the metro, tram, and buses, is one of the best in Europe as it covers a large portion of the city and some of the outskirts. You will use the tram to get to and from school from your accommodation every day so you will get used to it quickly.
